Back in the 40s, Mr. Armando Ibanez founded one of the very first travel agencies in Central America. IBALACA TOURS evolved from a partnership with his cousin and friend Roberto Lacayo Soto, who was a commercial pilot for Taca Airlines (now known as Avianca Airlines).
The dream team worked hard and the agency became one of the top in the country. The partnership dissolved after a few years but Mr. Ibanez continued focusing on his passion, that is how he founded and managed a new agency named MUNDI TOURS.
After 55 years, we continue to serve our faithful clientele in San Salvador, El Salvador.
In the 90s, his wife Mrs. Gina Dalponte de Ibanez established the agency in Houston, TX turning it into our main office.
